Wine and gift baskets

Wine is highly appreciated by Vietnamese people as it takes so much time for wine to ferment and distil. Red items
Spring is the season of the brightest and most effulgent colors. Especially, in Asia’s beliefs, red is considered good luck, prosperity, joyfulness and contentment. A branch of peach blossom
Together with kumquat tree, peach blossom is regarded as the irreplaceable decoration for Tet in Vietnam. There are a few kinds of peach blossom, from the red, pink to the white ones, depending on whether it is grown in mountainous or plain area. In Ha Noi, Nhat Tan’s flower garden is most famous for carefully-planted peach blossom, while in Moc Chau, we can easily see wildly high peach blossom trees.
Dong Ho paintings
During the Lunar New Year, many Vietnamese love decorating their houses with the traditional paintings that originate from Dong Ho Village in the northern province of Bac Ninh. Among the paintings’ main themes are good luck wishes and cultural activities.

Each framed Dong Ho painting costs at least VND 200,000.
Greeting cards
Having its roots from the contemporary era, sending greeting cards is the custom of Vietnamese people. For today’s busy modern life, it is such a convenient, fast and certainly very suitable. A greeting card is the best choice if you are a foreigner and confused about what gifts to give to your Vietnamese friends for the Tet.

Typically, they print distinctive images such as parallel sentences, square sticky rice cake, apricot and peach blossom, etc. on the vivid colors like red or yellow Tet’s greeting cards.
