Cush Cush Gallery
Located hidden in the Denpasar downtown area, Cush Cush Gallery is a modern platform for creative collaborations in contemporary art and design. You may find many different kinds of multidisciplinary arts which shown through intersections of materials and techniques. The gallery has a main gallery space with three smaller studios where a variety of creative programs are held. Nyaman Gallery
Located in the heart of Seminyak, Nyaman Gallery is an eclectic contemporary art gallery curated by Melvine Amar. The elegant and cozy space has been a home to emerging Bali-based contemporary artists for almost four years. Walk in and be greeted by a marvelous selection of Indonesian primitive art & décor amidst the 10 international and local artists featured, including Australian printmaker YOKII, street artist QUINT, illustrator BunnyBone, and collage painter Jean-Michel Aucler.
The friendly gallery team is present to answer any questions you might have, and do not miss out on the exotic Balinese sculptures displayed on the second floor. They are currently expanding their space to accommodate creative workshops and more exhibition space, so stay tuned to learn more.
TONYRAKA Art Gallery
A collaboration between a father and a son, TONYRAKA Art Gallery showcases two distinct themes, tribal and contemporary. Before changing the name to TONYRAKA, A.A Gede Raka Wirayuda established the Raka Gallery in 1968 to showcase his fine wood carving artworks. In 1997, A.A Bagus Tony Hartawan joined the business and thus the gallery changed its name to TONYRAKA. Now it presents a broaden artworks, including some from overseas artists who stay in the island. The gallery constantly endorses the growth and development of local artwork through its ongoing exhibitions.
Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA)
ARMA, in Ubud, is popular for its cultural, artistic, and architectural importance. It is a cozy place to learn about Balinese art, both classical and contemporary. It houses an impressive collection of prominent artists from across the Indonesian archipelago, especially Bali, many of whom are contemporary artists adapting traditional styles. The museum often hosts cultural events like traditional dance and music during the evenings.
