Tay Ninh-style sundried rice paper or “banh trang phoi suong” is a staple of this province located about 100km from Ho Chi Minh City, and the longest-existing residential area in Tay Ninh province to thank for feeding them with the scrumptious preparation of banh trang and boiled pork rolled with various vegetables and fresh herbs including bean sprouts, pickles, and plenty of edible wild leaves.

A Tay Ninh-style meat roll is a source of contention as there is no fixed order of ingredients to follow. As banh trang phoi suong is a dish from most Tay Ninh people’ childhoods, so many will argue they cannot enjoy it without a stunning dipping sauce called “mam nem”.
