From ancient temples to hidden caves and verdant rice paddies, this province in northern Vietnam has a bit of everything.

Trang An
Trang An is the most popular tourist attraction in Ninh Binh at the moment. In June 2014, UNESCO named Trang An a Natural and Cultural Heritage Site. Trang An is famous for its wild and pristine beauty shaped by winding rivers and limestone mountain ranges, leading to more unearthly and natural caves.
Tam Coc
Known as "Halong Bay on land", Tam Coc has been a famous destination ever since it was still the capital of Vietnam. Tam Coc means "Three Caves" which includes Ca Cave, Hai Cave and Ba Cave. The three of them were all formed by how Ngo Dong River ran through the mountains.

Am Tien Grotto and Pagoda is one of the relics located in Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel, inside the Ngu Phong Son mountain line which is near the King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh’s tomb. Legend has it that King Dinh Tien Hoang used to raise wild animals such as tigers and lions in Am Tien.
Thung Nham
Locating in the southwestern Ninh Binh City, Thung Nham Bird Garden is surrounded by jungles on limestone mountain ranges. Coming to Thung Nham, tourists can admire the sight of nearly 40 bird species with a total of 50,000 birds, along with many other valleys and caves around the areas.
