Genting Skyway
Genting Skyway is one of the two cable car systems serving Genting Highlands, travelling between Gohtong Jaya and the peak of the highlands. Throughout the 3.4 km-long journey, the gondola-style cable car offers breathtaking views of numerous landmarks within the highlands, including a 120-million-year-old rainforest, SkyAvenue Shopping Mall, Chin Swee Caves Temple and the upcoming 20th Century Fox Malaysia Theme Park. Depending on weather conditions, you’ll reach the Highlands Station within 15 to 20 minutes.
Genting Highlands Theme Park
The park is divided into four indoor and outdoor zones – the Outdoor Theme Park, First World Indoor Theme Park, Water Park and Video Games Park. The usual thrill rides and water slides are available, but there’s also a variety of signature attractions at Genting Theme Park including the Genting Sky Venture – a fierce wind tunnel for a simulated skydive – plus the fittingly-named Snow World.
Snow World
Living in a country with hot and humid climate, most Malaysians never truly know how snows really look like in real life. The theme park targets those who have never been to a cold climate or experienced snow before. Even when it's blazing hot outside, the temperature inside never rises higher than 0 C. Visitors from colder countries may find the attraction a bit underwhelming.
Chin Swee Caves Temple
Chin Swee Caves Temple is a Taoist temple that’s set on a 28-acre plot of rocky forested land in Genting Highlands, where locals often frequent for religious rituals and enjoy the serene atmosphere. It was erected in honour of Reverend Master Chin Swee, a Buddhist monk from the Fujian Province who was renowned for his ability to summon rain and drive away evil spirits.
Casino De Genting
Genting Casino is one of the most popular evening activity venues in Genting Highlands, where you can test your luck at winning a massive pay-out. Established in 1971 by Resorts World Genting's founder, Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, the casino was the first land-based casino in Malaysia, and has continuously attracted thousands of visitors from across the world.
Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm
Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm is a family-friendly attraction in Genting Highlands, where you can spend an afternoon exploring its many colourful fruit farms and flower gardens. Set within Bandar Gohtong Jaya, it’s accessible within a six-minute drive from the Genting Premium Outlets and Awana Skyway cable car station.
