Kawah Putih
Kawah Putih is located near the charming little market town of Ciwidey, approximately 50 Kilometers south of Bandung. The Crater Lake is one of two craters of Mount Patuha, with the dry Kawah Patuha or the Patuha Crater located 600 meters to its northwest, being the other. Stepping into Kawah Putih is like entering a different realm.
First opened for visitors in 1987, nowadays Kawah Putih is a favorite destination for tourists and day trippers who are simply stunned by its mesmerizing ambience. On weekends and on holidays, quite large numbers of visitors frequently visit the area just to immerse themselves in the mystical beauty of nature.
Trans Studio Bandung
Trans Studio Bandung is an amusement park in Bandung, Indonesia. Trans Studio Bandung is composed of several sections, among others: a shopping mall called Trans Studio Mall (of usually referred as TSM), a recreation park called Trans Studio and a luxury hotel called Trans Studio Hotel.
Tebing Keraton
Tebing Keraton can be simply interpreted as “The Royal (Palace) Cliff”. The name perfectly illustrates the majestic vista of north Bandung’s fascinating natural landscapes as ones stands on the cliff. At 1,200 meters above sea level, Tebing Keraton is located within the Ir H Djuanda Forest Park, at Ciburial Village, Cimenyan sub-district, in the Bandung Regency. At the main area, there is a rock that bulges over the edge of the cliff which makes it a perfect place to observe over the incredible natural surroundings.
Bandung Geological Museum
Here, the fossils of massive T-rex dinosaurs, skulls of the famous Java Man, exhibits marking the geological evolution of lakes and volcanoes - these all mark the way the area is almost like the cradle of life in the East. Exhibits and collections here focus on four distinct sections: the native geology of Indonesia, understanding the evolution of biodiversity through fossils, the geology of human life and outdoor exhibitions.
Patenggang Lake
The Patenggang Lake is truly a magical place to be. Quiet, ethereal and serene, its lush greenery and quiet waters provide a truly tranquil experience for locals and visitors alike. Spend the day paddling about the lake, watching children play in its recreation area, touring the nearby Rancabali tea plantation, immersing yourself in its steaming and soothing hot spring waters, taking a dip in the cool of its swimming pools and grabbing a bite (or two!) at its casual restaurants.
