Visit Gardens by the Bay
Gardens by the Bay is an incredible futuristic park featuring giant man-made tree structures (called the ‘Supertree Grove’) which towers into the sky. This Singapore attraction has won countless awards and continues to wow the endless succession of visitors who have the chance to get up close and personal with the trees by using the impressive Skywalk over the gardens. Come nightfall, the 50-metre-tall trees are brilliantly illuminated with a kaleidoscope of colours making the whole park even more spectacular. The show starts around 20:00 and is completely free.
Watch the Light Show
The nightly Wonder Full light show at Marina Bay Sands is a 15-minute showpiece of visual effects by the waterfront incorporating laser beams and displays of water. Showtimes are Sunday and Thursday at 8:00pm, 9:30pm and Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm, 9:30pm, 11:00pm.
Indulge your inner Arts Enthusiast
Singapore is busy growing its arts scene, and much of the action is happening right in Marina Bay. For the theater and performing arts scene, visit the Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, a theatrical arts venue particularly notable for its durian-like prickly exterior.
The Esplanade hosts over 3,000 arts performances, workshops and exhibitions across every conceivable artistic venture. Its most high-profile performance event takes place during New Year's Eve, when its outdoor stage hosts local and international musical artists ringing in the New Year.
Walk around Marina Bay Sands Sky Park
Perched at the very top of the awe-inspiring, three-pronged Marina Bay Sands complex, venturing up to the Sands Sky Park is a great way of seeing the iconic Singapore skyline in all its glory. Entrance is around S$23 for adults and S$12 for the kids, although some almost identical views can be enjoyed from the luxurious Sky@57 restaurant or the sumptuous CE LA VI Sky bar, both of which are similarly located on the top floors of the Marina Bay Sands resort. As for that sumptuous infinity-edge swimming pool.
Visit the art science museum
Featuring different styles of art each season, this Art Science Museum has become one of the top tourist things to do in Marina Bay. Not only that, you cannot help but notice the huge lotus shaped building and it is very own lotus garden located at the foot of the museum.
Go in the Marina Bay Sands Casino
With an area of 161,000 square feet, the Casino at the Marina Bay Sands accommodates over 15,000 patrons across four gaming levels, promising the "sands" Las Vegas experience on the other side of the world.
Within these glitzy, modernistic hallways, patrons can try their luck on more than 600 table games and over 2,500 slot machines and electronic table games. Between sessions, you can exit to the shoppes at Marina Bay Sands or dine at one of seven attached celebrity chef restaurants.
