Ailu Cat House Café
A mellow joint dropped into one of Saigon’s most coffee-centric neighborhoods, Ailu has some of the most impressive felines in the city. Exotic Burmese or Persian cats are the reason to visit. The soft music and tasty coffee are the reasons to stay a while.

Yuna Alaska Coffee
A bunch of fluffy and friendly dogs on the first floor with a pug that will be in your lap within 30 seconds if he sees you sitting on the floor. Cats on the second-floor loft including a Sphynx cat that was quite friendly and wanted to sit in my lap, maybe because we both have no hair we instantly bonded. There were also two kittens that looked to me like little Ewoks.

Babo Café
Perhaps the only café in Saigon with such a wild twist, Babo café excites its customers not only with caffeine, but also with its exotic reptiles.
You can find a plethora of reptilian friends at this coffee shop, turtles, snakes, lizards, salamanders and frogs to name a few. Freely crawling all over the shop, customers are welcome to pet and feed these brightly colored, cold-blooded but friendly reptiles.

Pet Me
Located in Thao Dien, one of Saigon’s, most western neighborhoods, Pet Me is a cross between a cafe and a zoo. The outdoor space offers more than just coffee, they host live music and painting nights as well. Home to a number of large tropical birds, tortoises, reptiles and fluffy pups, Pet Me is a great place to take the kids.

Hachiko
Named after the famous Japanese Akita dog “Hachiko”, known for waiting for his master at the train station every day for over nine years after he passed away.
Out of all the dog cafes, Hachiko has a variety of dogs, big and small. Dogs are very friendly. Though they did seem thirsty, licking the condensation on the cups.

Ken’s House
Ken’s House, Cafe Chó Alaska, is a cafe populated with loving dogs. Where cats laze about, more or less indifferent to cafe visitors, these pups are more than willing to share the love with you.
All dogs are well-groomed and behaved. While the cafe’s true love is the Alaskan malamute. There are several other breeds in residence including a dalmatian. Coffee is the house specialty but they also have a good range of juices and teas, served with a side of snuggles.
