Blue Pond
Blue Pond is a man-made pond feature in Biei, Hokkaido, Japan. The colour is thought to result from the accidental presence of colloidal aluminium hydroxide in the water. Thanks to the blue color, during winter, the scenary gives out a magical feeling as rows of snow-covered trees are reflected in the pond.
