Tokyo Disneyland
Tokyo Disneyland is a theme park based on the films produced by Walt Disney. It was opened in 1983 as the first Disney theme park outside of the United States. Modeled after Disneyland in California and the Magic Kingdom in Florida, Tokyo Disneyland is made up of seven themed lands and features seasonal decorations and parades.
Tokyo DisneySea
Tokyo DisneySea is a fantasy theme park in Tokyo Disney Resort that is unique to Japan. Inspired by the myths and legends of the sea, Tokyo DisneySea is made up of seven themed ports of call: Mediterranean Harbor, Mysterious Island, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery and American Waterfront.
Meiji Mura
Meiji Mura is one of Japan's several outstanding open-air museums, displaying over sixty buildings from the Meiji Period. This era followed the end of Japan's feudal age, and its architecture is characterized by a strong influx of Western architecture. The theme park-like museum is located in Inuyama, one hour outside of Nagoya, in a vast wooded area next to Iruka Pond. Meiji Mura is one of the most visited open-air museums in Japan. It takes at least half a day to explore the spacious museum grounds and cover all of its exhibits.
Fuji-Q Highland
Fuji-Q Highland is one of Japan's most popular amusement parks, located in the Fuji Five Lake region at the foot of Mount Fuji. It is best known for its thrilling, record-breaking roller coasters and elaborate, anime- themed rides and attractions. The park strives to be at the forefront of theme park entertainment and has been constantly opening new rides and attractions, including Guinness World Record-breaking roller coasters.
Huis Ten Bosch
Huis Ten Bosch is a theme park in Nagasaki Prefecture which recreates a Dutch town. It is named after one of the residences of the Dutch Royal Family. The spacious resort is suffused with a European atmosphere with its picturesque canals, iconic windmills, beautiful gardens and architecture.
Tobu World Square
Tobu World Square is a theme park in Kinugawa Onsen that exhibits 1/25th scale replicas of famous buildings from around the world. The models include ancient monuments, cultural treasures and UNESCO World Heritage Sites which are reproduced with great detail all the way down to cars, trains and miniature people populating the sites, and with gardens that change with the seasons.
Spain Mura
Shima Spain Mura, also known as "Parque Espana is a theme park about Spain designed much in the same style as Disneyland. The park features multiple roller coasters, an adventure lagoon ride, a mystery house, and various other rides. Furthermore, there are flamenco dance performances and various shopping and dining options around the grounds.
